Why Bullets Matter
**Keywords get your resume found. Impact bullets convince a human that you are worth interviewing.**
In ATS Keyword Teardown, we mapped job description language to truthful resume keywords. Now we’re turning that same evidence into the most important part of your resume: the bullet points under Experience and Projects.
A weak bullet says what you touched:
- “Worked on React app”
- “Used Node.js and MongoDB”
- “Helped fix bugs”
A strong bullet says what changed because you were there:
- “Built reusable React form components that reduced duplicated validation logic across 6 screens”
- “Implemented Node.js API endpoints for user search, pagination, and profile updates”
- “Resolved checkout state bugs that caused failed cart updates during multi-step flows”
This lesson is a workshop. We are not trying to sound fancy. We are trying to make your real work specific, technical, and outcome-oriented.
